Marketing Operations Specialist

Job description


WebMechanix is looking for a Marketing Operations Specialist who is highly proficient working with CRM platforms such as HubSpot and Salesforce and has both the technical chops and understanding of the customer lifecycle to develop, test, and maintain marketing automation campaigns that drive SQLs and sales.

This candidate can shift quickly between clients and their unique needs, can hold their own in highly technical conversations about a CRM’s capabilities, and lives in the data to analyze and optimize the work that they do.

This position will be responsible for:

  • Craft and ask questions to understand and document our client’s business process (particularly around marketing & sales)
  • Architect CRM and marketing automation requirements based on business process understanding
  • Build and QA complex campaign setups, complete with tracking, measurement, workflows, email templates and settings, landing pages, segmentation, suppression, etc
  • Utilize personalization techniques to support and drive effective ABM programs
  • Analyze data to surface insights from marketing tech (CRM, MA, Google Analytics, etc.) and identify trends & opportunities for improving client metrics & performance and report back to the client team
  • Quickly learn new systems & technologies based on a solid foundational understanding of widely adopted tools like HubSpot, Salesforce, Marketo, Bizible, etc
  • Improve our marketing automation and orchestration capabilities to empower and train the rest of the agency to launch effective, repeatable campaigns at scale
  • Support other elements of the marketing operating system at WebMechanix, particularly by implementing and optimizing data collection through Google Tag Manager

Skills and experiences you should have:

  • Expert-level in CRM & marketing automation skills
    • 2+ years of experience using Hubspot preferred
  • Deep knowledge & passion for marketing systems & process
  • Deep understanding of content marketing, with experience in B2B/ABM marketing, preferred
  • Proficiency in Google Analytics, data manipulation & analysis skills
  • Proficiency in HTML and CSS
  • Proficiency in reporting and data visualization tools (e.g., DataStudio, Tableau, etc)
  • Excellent communication & people skills
  • Ability to train, manage & mentor the team
  • Extreme curiosity and desire to tinker to continually optimize

Nice to have:

  • JavaScript proficiency
  • Experience in WordPress
  • Experience with Sales Automation/Service Integration with CRM platforms
  • B2b experience
  • Proficiency in ad platforms (e.g., Google Ads, Facebook, LinkedIn, etc.)
  • Proficiency in related marketing tools (e.g., HotJar, SEMRush, Mailchimp, Moz, Survey Monkey, etc.)
