👋We're WebMechanix - an award-winning digital marketing agency based in Columbia, MD. We run high-impact performance marketing programs for over 60+ clients, which means we write a LOT of copy. We're looking for an accomplished wordsmith who can write copy that sells.
Mediums would include mostly landing pages, ads, emails and web copy for clients -- mostly in software, technology, healthcare & education. Having experience writing for direct response is a plus.

Here's what you'll be doing:
Leverage direct response best practices to help our clients achieve their goals
Research to gain an understanding of target audiences & their psychological triggers
Develop action inducing copy for landing pages, digital ads, websites, and more
Ensure all creative adheres to existing brand guidelines
Work with internal teams to develop creative ideas and tactical executions
Create original concepts across multiple digital disciplines
Responsible for editing and proofing materials during all project phases
Match brand voices with writing

Here's what you need:
5+ years of copywriting experience, agency experience optimal
Experience with direct response copywriting principles and best practices
Knowledge of writing for the digital landscape (ads, landing pages, emails, etc.)
Understanding of testing strategies, and how to incorporate results into new creative and optimizations
Clear communicator with big ideas but the market sensibility to connect to real customers
