👋In case we've never met before, we're WebMechanix - an award winning digital marketing agency based in Columbia, MD. We helps clients across the globe win in the digital world whether that be a PPC campaign, a website redesign, or custom web tracking on a site.


You'll be joining a team of 50+ marketers, developers, and designers who love digital, get excited about new Google Ads developments, and love to look at great Facebook ads. If you're into those sorts of things, you're just what we're looking for. 


To continue to fuel our growth, we're looking for hungry sales talent to join our team. You're a person who feels comfortable logging 50+ cold calls a day and networking with marketers/executives in our industry. 


Here's a high-level view of what you'll do: 


  • Identifying, engaging & qualifying new prospects via phone, email & social media

  • Contacting potential prospects through cold calling and cold emailing

  • Differentiating our offerings to potential clients, generating interest and desire

  • Setting up meetings between prospective clients and WebMechanix Account Executives

  • Providing timely, organized documentation of sales activities via CRM

  • Sourcing prospects to keep a robust sales pipeline for the agency

  • Proactively seeking out new clients in innovative ways

  • Delivering weekly, monthly, and quarterly sales results to the Director of Business Development

  • Networking at professional events

  • Constantly learning by reading, self-coaching, and training

Requirements

  • What you need to have

    • 1+ years experience in a business development or sales role

    • Comfortable with networking and cold-calling

    • Self-motivation, persistence, ambition, and discipline

    • A willingness to learn and be coached

    • Proven track record of consistently meeting / exceeding aggressive quotas

    • Experience with any kind of CRM

    • Articulate and persuasive communication skills 

  • What's nice to have (these are bonus points :)

    • Experience with selling digital marketing services

    • Fluency with HubSpot, Google Suite, and Asana

    • History of creating and delivering powerful presentations to audiences, big and small

    • Strong Microsoft Excel Skills

    • Excellent written skills

    • Extensive network of trusted professional contacts (technology, education & B2B space preferred)
