ūüĎčWe're WebMechanix - an award-winning digital marketing agency based in Columbia, MD. We run high-impact performance marketing programs for over 60+ clients, which means we write a LOT of copy.¬†We're looking for a diamond-in-the-rough wordsmith who can write copy that sells.¬†

 

Mediums would include mostly landing pages, ads, emails and web copy for clients -- mostly in software, technology, healthcare & education.

Here's what you'll be doing: 

  • Leverage direct response best practices to help our clients achieve their goals

  • Research to gain understanding of target audiences &¬†their psychological triggers

  • Develop action inducing copy for landing pages, digital ads, websites, and more¬†¬†

  • Ensure all creative adheres to existing brand guidelines¬†

  • Work with internal teams to develop the creative ideas and tactical executions¬†

  • Create original concepts across multiple digital disciplines

  • Responsible for editing and proofing materials during all project phases¬†

  • Match brand voices with writing¬†

Requirements

Here's what you need: 

  • 5+ years of copywriting experience, agency experience optimal¬†

  • Experience with direct response copywriting principles and best practices

  • Knowledge of writing for the digital landscape (social ads, landing pages, emails, etc.)¬†

  • Understanding of testing strategies, and how to incorporate results into new creative and optimizations

  • Clear communicator with the big ideas but a market sensibility to be able to communicate to real customers¬†
